Foley is a professor in the College of Computing at Georgia Tech. He co-authored four computer graphics texts. He received ACM/SIGGRAPH's Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to computer graphics in 1997 and ACM/SIGCHI’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007. From 2001 to 2005 he was chair of the Computing Research Association - an organization of over 250 computer science and computer engineering university departments, professional societies and research labs.

Jean-Daniel Fekete is Senior Research Scientist (DR1) at INRIA, Scientific Leader of the INRIA Project Team AVIZ that he founded in 2007.His main Research areas are Visual Analytics, Information Visualization and Human Computer Interaction. He published more than 150 articles in multiple conferences and journals, including the most prestigious in visualization and Human-Computer Interaction. He is the chair of the IEEE Information Visualization Conference Steering Committee.

Baoquan Chen is a Professor of Shandong University, where he is also the Dean of School of Computer Science and Technology. Prior to the current post, he was the founding director of the Visual Computing Research Center, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests generally lie in computer graphics, visualization, and human-computer interaction, focusing specifically on large-scale city modeling, simulation and visualization.

Prof. Deussen graduated at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and is professor at University of Konstanz (Germany) and visiting professor at SIAT (Chinese Academy of Science) Shenzhen. 2012-2015 he served as Co-Editor in Chief of Computer Graphics Forum, currently he is Vice-President of Eurographics Association. Jiawan Zhang, full professor, Vice Dean, school of computer software. Prof. Zhang is also the director of Visual Computing Lab, director of Data Science Institute, Tianjin University. Prof. Zhang is also now leading the Key Lab of Chinese Cultural Heritage Conservation and Promotion, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. His research interests include visualization, computer graphics and e-heritage.
