is a professor in the School of Computer Science and Technology at the Shandong University Qingdao campus. His research deals with the development of machine perception-driven visualization techniques that enhance people's ability to understand and communicate data. Specifically, we are asking if it is possible to automatically design an effecitive visualization that is best suited to pursue a given task on given input data.
